There once was a family of white oaks on this hillside that bore witness to the birth of the cemetery and the nation. In 2003, Hurricane Isabel blew over all but two. Without their family, the two oak brothers supported one another through the years until 1 blew over in 2021. The remaining oak declined each year after until its death in 2024. Through their fallen bodies, a table was born. The legs, carved from the fallen oak in 2021 support the tabletop made from the last remaining oak. Brothers together again.

Before the @usopen this year in Brooklyn, I had the huge privilege of working with @lululemon to create a mural with only tennis balls for their athletes @bigfoe1998 and @leylahannietennis. The tennis event was called Spread Love, after the Biggie Smalls line, and created by @thefitinwellness and @ife_o who personally recruited me but didn’t think I’d even respond to her email!🤪 3 weeks later and the mural was up. @hailey.landin with all the footage. Sorry, I chopped it up a little🫣😇
